Interview with María Montserrat Gimeno, music therapist specialising in the Bonny Method of GIM


Cecilia Barrios, music therapist, publicist and director of the website, has interviewed María Montserrat Gimeno, a music therapist specialising in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. Said therapeutic method consists of guiding the imagination through music, and in the interview María Montserrat explained its basis.

During the interview, María Montserrat took the opportunity to announce that she will be teaching some of the sessions on the course Developing and Learning the MI (Music and Image) Technique, offered by IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra and directed by Melissa Mercadal.

Melissa Mercadal is the director of the Master in Music Therapy, offered by IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra in collaboration with the Blanquerna Faculty of Psychology, Education Sciences and Sport-Ramon Llull University, and the course Music Therapy from Self-Experience, also offered by IDEC.

These two intensive courses, running from Monday to Friday, are expected to take place from 2 to 6 July.
