Course for Judges and Magistrates in Equatorial Guinea


Under the agreement signed with the Institute of Legal Practice of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, IDEC-UPF participates in the Program for Training of Judges and Magistrates.

The program is aimed at judges throughout the Republic and will take place between June and September 2013, with intensive modules in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law and Civil Law taught by professors of the UPF department of law at the headquarters of the Supreme Court, in Malabo.

On June 10 took place the opening session of the program in the presence of officials of the judicial system of the country including the Chief Justice, the President of the Constitutional Court, the Deputy Minister of Justice, Attorney General and various Supreme Court magistrates . Dr. Alex Saiz Arnaiz, head of UPF department of Law of started the program with the delivery of a course on Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights.
