New Continuing Education Programme activities


The Alumni Association?s Continuing Education Programme continues its intense activity. In the first part of the year it has held four talks. On February 6th we had the opportunity of hearing Anders Alcayaga, an Chilean expert consultant in managerial skills, in a talk entitled "Clear-thinking executives: the detection of anomalies in executive thinking processes". The main topic of the conference given on March 11th by Montserrat Vendrell, director general of BioRegion of Catalonia was "Bioregional challenges". Talks in April focused on two specific collectives: women and ex-patriates. On April 3rd Miquel Bonet, CEO for Grupo Select and author of the book "¡Búscate la vida!" and co-author of "¡Qué estrés!" gave a talk on "The current situation of women on the jobs market". In an event held on April 15th, the main theme was "Expatriates, working abroad and coming home", given by Jordi Casas, organisational director and human resources officer for Hemeretik.
