Our admission process consists of a rigorous evaluation of each application in order to preserve the quality of the group as well as the training, experience and work capacity of all students.

<ul><li>The Admissions Committee will select the candidates on the basis of a personal or CV-based interview.</li>
	<li>You will be notified of the admission decision in writing.</li>
</ul>

Admission

<ul><li>Registration must be paid within 15 days after admission.</li>
	<li>Paying the reservation fee (25% of the program's tuition fees) is essential in order to reserve your place</li>
	<li>If you pay the tuition fees by bank transfer, you will be required to introduce the program code. The program code for this course is 1590.</li>
	<li>The remaining tuition fees must be paid 2 weeks before the start of the course.</li>
	<li>Once the letter of acceptance to the program has been received, you will need to submit the following original documents before the course begins*:</li>

For university degrees from Spain or an EU country:

<ul><li>Certified copy1 with the original validation stamp or copy with a digital verification code and/or electronic signature of the university degree.</li>

	<li>Language level accreditation if required.</li>
</ul>For university degrees from a Non-EU country:

<ul><li>Certified copy1 with the original validation stamp or copy with a digital verification code of the university degree duly authenticated2.</li>
	<li>Certified copy1 with the original validation stamp or copy with a digital verification code of the university academic transcript duly authenticated2.</li>
	<li>Language level accreditation if required.</li>
</ul>Documents in languages other than Catalan, Spanish, English, French, or Portuguese must submit an official sworn translation3 of these documents in Spanish, Catalan, or English (including stamps).

1 Certified copy. Copy of an original document duly stamped by a competent public body after having compared it with the original. This guarantees the formal and accurate likeness of the original document and copy. You can obtain certified copies in your country (universities, notary offices, city/town halls, etc.). 2 Legalization. Administrative act through which the validity of a foreign public document is authenticated, verifying the validity of its signatures and the capacity in which the signatory authority is acting. 
a) Country that has signed the Hague Convention: the document is authenticated with the inclusion of the Hague Apostille. 
b) Country that has signed the Andrés Bello Convention or any country that has not signed either of the agreements: the document is authenticated with the inclusion of three legalization stamps (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Spanish consulate or embassy in the country in which the qualification was issued). 3 Official certified translation. You can hire a certified translator in your home country at any Spanish embassy or consulate, or through any institution that offers this service.

Application for admission

Applications for admission will be evaluated when you complete the following steps:

	<li>Pay the €120 admission fee. This amount will be returned if you are not admitted.</li>
	<li>Send the following documents through the online platform e-registrar:

		<li>Passport-size photo (jpg format)</li>

The Online Master in Data Analytics for Business is structured into three major modules focused on artificial intelligence, data analytics, and project management.

You must complete all compulsory courses and choose either four electives* or two electives plus a professional internship. The wide range of available courses will let you tailor your training to your interests.

In addition, to offer a more hands-on learning experience, we will organize an optional in-person week of visits to technology companies that base their strategies and decisions on data. This will allow you to see how they approach data analysis, visualization, and interpretation to achieve optimal business strategies.

<ul><li>Guillem Batiste 
	Mathematician from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Medical Doctor from the University of Barcelona. Specialized in Data Science and the applied use of generative artificial intelligence, he is currently the Head of AI at the Spanish startup Piper AI. Previously, he has been a trainer and speaker on the applied use of generative AI in companies such as Televisió de Catalunya and at events such as Google Cloud Day Barcelona.</li>
	<li>Ayoub Boustta 
	Senior Experienced Consultant at SDG Group. Graduated in Computer Engineering from the University of La Rioja and certified as a Cloud Architect and Data Engineer on Google Cloud Platform. He has more than six years of experience in the Data field.</li>
	<li>Ariadna Casasús 
	Has held various positions in multinational companies in the areas of strategy and marketing. She is currently part of the team at Link2market, a company dedicated to carrying out practical strategic projects to accelerate organizations. She has a degree in International Business and Marketing (ESCI-UPF), in Advertising and Public Relations (UOC), and has studied the Global Executive Master in Digital Business (ISDI) and the Master in Innovation and Digital Transformation (UOC). She is an associate lecturer in the Executive and Master's programs in Digital Marketing at the UOC and a collaborating professor at La Salle-Technova.</li>
	<li>Joan Fernández 
	Senior Executive at SDG Group. Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He holds an EMBA from UPF Barcelona School of Management and a General Management Program from IESE. He has more than ten years of professional experience focused on Data and Artificial Intelligence, as well as on training and people management.</li>
	<li>Adriana Martins 
	Specialist in Business Intelligence with a main focus on visualization tools and data processing. She has worked for top-tier companies in multiple sectors (banking, health, retail, public sector, education, etc.). She currently works at Minsait (Indra) in the Business Intelligence department for an IBEX35 bank. She holds a degree in Management Computer Engineering from the UPC, has studied the master's in Big Data Management, Technologies and Analytics (UPC), and the master's in Health Management (UB).</li>
	<li>Sara Puig 
	Executive Manager at NTT Data. She leads the Data Strategy and Public Sector Data teams in Barcelona. Economist. Master’s degree in SAP ERP from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and in Data &amp; Analytics from UPF Barcelona School of Management. Specialist in Data &amp; AI Strategy, Data Governance, and Data Management.</li>
	<li>David Solans 
	Associate Researcher at Telefónica Research. PhD in Communication Sciences from Pompeu Fabra University. He has a Master's and Postgraduate degree in Data Science and a Degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat de Barcelona. He is the author and/or co-author of multiple scientific articles and is the inventor of several patents published by the United States Patent Office.</li>
	<li>Luca Telloli 
	Senior Data Engineering, Adevinta. Graduated in Computer Science from the University of Bologna. He has an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from UC San Diego. He has worked as a research engineer at institutions such as the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and Yahoo! Research. He has teaching experience at the School of Engineering of the Pompeu Fabra University.</li>
	<li>Marc Valdivia 
	Computer Engineer from the University of Barcelona. He participated in the computer vision research group with a publication in the ECCV. Specializing in the field of artificial intelligence, he currently leads the engineering team at the Spanish startup Piper. Previously, he was a professor in the “Big Data &amp; Artificial Intelligence” master's program at the Barcelona Technology School.</li>
