Barcelona Film Society: where film education meets creation
The Barcelona Film Society is the film school of UPF Barcelona School of Management, built around the Master's Degree in Creative Documentary.
Founded in 1998 by Jordi Balló and now led by filmmaker Eva Vila, the Master's has spent almost three decades shaping a distinctive approach to film education, where learning and filmmaking go hand in hand.
Students develop their projects in collaboration with independent producers, gaining hands-on experience throughout the filmmaking process. This unique approach has led to the production of 42 feature-length documentaries to date.
