The UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) has once again hosted this prominent international gathering on the book and publishing sector, which brought together more than 33 experts from around the world.

• Leaders from the country’s top institutions and companies attended the award ceremony for the UPF-BSM ‘Business Person of the Year’

• The award was given to Galán in recognition of his leadership at the helm of the company, turning it into a global benchmark in responsible and sustainable growth

For the fifth year in a row, the UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) has been named as a “Transforming School", by the Positive Impact Rating (PIR), an international classification awarded in recognition of responsible business education, social impact and sustainability of the world's leading business schools based on the opinion of the students themselves.

The UPF Barcelona School of Management (UPF-BSM) has renewed its EQUIS accreditation, which it was first awarded in 2022, making it the first business school affiliated to a public university in Spain to achieve this accolade. One of the most relevant accreditations in the higher education sector, the EQUIS certification is awarded by EFMD, the foundation that rates schools in terms of aspects such as academic quality, research, focus on internationalization, connections with the professional world and ethical commitment.

• Artificial Intelligence, digital fluency, strategic agility, and sustainability-based decision-making are some of the new trends incorporated into the online EMBA.
• Overseen by Academic Director Katharine D’Amico, the new edition of the Master will begin in March 2026, with a top-class international faculty.
• The new EMBA will offer two specialization tracks: one in MedTech, which explores the latest advances in medical technology; and the other in AI and Big Data for decision-making.
